[BOAF Signature Series] Sichuan Yu Xiang Mussels
Yu Xiang (鱼香）means fish fragrant, but there is no fish in the sauce. The flavour is sour, spicy, sweet. Classically Yu Xiang Sauce is goes with meat, eggplant etc. We use this sauce to cook with sweet succulent mussels and it turn out a well balance and addictive dish that goes well with rice or even toast of bread.

Shelf life: 3 months in freezer.
Ingredients: Chilean Black Mussel, Yu Xiang Sauce (Sichuan Pickled Chilli, Leek, Ginger, Sugar, Bao Ning Vinegar, Fermented Bean Paste, Garlic, Pickled Ginger, Light Soy Sauce, Dark Soy Sauce, MSG) .
1. Thaw pre-packed mussel overnight in fridge or boil a pot of boiling water, off fire and place inside for 3mins to defrost.
2. Pour the contents from the bag into a pot.
3. Bring up to a boil and is ready to consume.
